Charity Surgeries Successfully Completed at the Republican Center of Surgery Named After Academician V. Vakhidov!

From February 16 to 22, a large-scale charity initiative was carried out to provide cardiac surgery assistance to children with congenital heart defects.

Results:
✔️ Over 120 children underwent medical examinations
✔️ 64 surgeries were performed, including:
🔹 25 open-heart surgeries
🔹 39 endovascular interventions

This project was implemented with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Muslim World League, as well as through the coordinated efforts of Uzbek and Saudi cardiac surgeons.

International cooperation in the field of medicine has not only saved lives but has also become an important step in the development of cardiac surgery in Uzbekistan.
