Scientific Department

The Scientific Department of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov is a key structural unit responsible for the organization, coordination, and development of the Center's research activities. The Scientific Department implements fundamental and applied research programs in the fields of cardiac, vascular, abdominal, transplant, endoscopic, and reconstructive surgery. The results of scientific research are actively implemented into everyday practice, contributing to increased treatment effectiveness and improving the quality of medical care. The Department actively collaborates with higher education institutions, research centers, and international clinics, participates in international projects, and organizes scientific conferences, seminars, and roundtables.
Every year, the Center's staff publish dozens of scientific articles in domestic and international journals and present at international forums and congresses.

Thanks to the activities of the Scientific Department, the V. Vakhidov Surgical Center maintains and strengthens its status as a leading scientific and educational institution, ensuring the development of surgical science and the introduction of innovations into the healthcare system of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
