Today, an important working meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dedicated to further development and modernization of the management system of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Surgery Center, Professor Saydimurad Ibragimovich Ismailov, as well as invited foreign experts — Chief Manager Kim Chul So and Management Reform Specialist Dr. Shin Dong Yeun. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov.
During the meeting, foreign managers presented a project aimed at reforming the management system of the Surgery Center. The project outlines their vision and proposals for developing the institution into a modern, efficient, and sustainable medical organization.
The presented project предусматривает establishing a transparent and structured management model at the Surgery Center, introducing management based on key performance indicators (KPI), optimizing patient flow and clinical processes, developing digital medical systems, strengthening control over costs and financial processes, and forming a modern model of a surgical center.
Minister of Health Asilbek Anvarovich Khudayarov carefully reviewed the project and emphasized that these initiatives fully align with the state policy aimed at reforming the healthcare system.
It was also noted that the involvement of foreign specialists and advanced management practices is being carried out in accordance with the direct instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Head of State pays great attention to strengthening the material and technical base of medical institutions, introducing modern technologies, and modernizing the healthcare system.
The Minister expressed full support for all initiatives and stressed that the Ministry will provide comprehensive assistance in improving polyclinic activities, modernizing inpatient management, and implementing modern medical management principles.
The implementation of these reforms will help increase the efficiency of the Surgery Center, improve the quality of medical services, strengthen the institution’s financial stability, and establish a modern management model in line with international standards.
