Care and Attention for Those Who Donated Part of Their Liver to Their Loved Ones

In celebration of Medical Workers’ Day, from November 5 to 7, 2026, a charitable initiative for liver donors will be held at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery named after Academician V. Vakhidov.

Liver donation is a noble act that offers a loved one the chance for a new life. The health and well-being of both liver transplant recipients and donors are equally important to us.

As part of this initiative, liver donors will be able to receive the following medical examinations free of charge:

• Complete blood count
• Blood biochemistry test
• Urinalysis
• Abdominal ultrasound examination
• Specialist consultations and examinations
• Recommendations for further medical follow-up

Through this initiative, we wish to express our gratitude to our donors and emphasize that their health remains a priority even after surgery.
